About Us
This website is dedicated to the exhibition, exploration, and excitement of Contemporary Artists Steve and Yvonne Maloney.
Working from separate studios in Rancho Santa Fe and Palm Springs California, the creative husband and wife couple began to put the brush to canvas in 2000, and have exploded on to the contemporary art scene.
They both share an incredible sense of vibrant color and that's where the similarities come to a screeching halt.
Yvonne, inspired from a time gone by, paints wonderfully romantic ladies, colorful stills, and beautiful flowers that surrounding her life. She gracefully matches her passion for art with her passion for giving, as 100% of the proceeds from her works are donated to various charities.
Steve, on the other hand is the noisy one. Creating large series of works that encompass the spirit of American POP culture. Working in several mediums from painting to film and sculpture to performance he has a talent for absorbing the levity of everyday life and transforming those visions into powerful visual art.
Exposing his work to the masses is what makes Steve tick. By creating a portfolio of art made from wrecked NASCAR parts titled, "This IS Where The Rubber Meets The Road" to his latest series "1-800GadgetsAndGizmosArt.Com", inspired by modern day infomercials has allowed him to do this by exhibiting his work in both traditional Museums and Galleries to wildly creative alternative spaces like The Daytona International Speedway or a True-Value Hardware store.
